1. ALWAYS RINSE YOUR WETSUIT WITH COLD WATER
Before and after your session, rinse your suit in fresh water.
2. WHEN RINSING YOUR WETSUIT
To extend the life and softness of the neoprene, occasionally wash your wetsuit in cold water with a small amount of mild detergent, rinse and then hang in the shade to dry.
3. HANG YOUR WETSUIT IN THE SHADE TO DRY.
It’s best to use a broad shoulder plastic hanger (like the one we supply with the wetsuit), and hang it in the shade to drip dry. Do not use a wire hanger as it can damage the shoulders of the suit.
4. DRY IT INSIDE OUT.
This will help in keeping the flexibility of your wetsuit as well as avoiding a smelly wetsuit.
5. THE WASHING MACHINE IS A NO GO!
Do not put your valuable wetsuit in the washing machine or the dryer, as excessive heat from a dryer can damage the integrity of the neoprene. If you want to wash your wetsuit, do not use washing detergent, stain remover, fabric softener, olive oil, jet fuel etc. These substances damage the neoprene and endurance of your wetsuit.
6. DON'T SIT ON ROUPH SURFACES!
The Lycra fabric is sensitive, and so it's best not to sit on the edge of a pool, or on any surface that's not smooth. Always put a towel underneath.
7. STORE YOUR WETSUIT PROPERLY.
Store your wetsuit flat.
